I just wanted to share a Bible Verse that has given me comfort and strength over the last week. I like it so much that I copied it down for a few ladies at the office as well. Work has been a bit wearisome as we get closer and closer to this big inspection, but God always finds a way to remind us that we need not worry about the things of this life.
I couldn't get the video I wanted to post inside the blog, but if you click on the Ifel Tower it will take you to video I want to share. I love you both. I have also posted clocks at the very bottom of the page with all of our time zones.
2 Cor. 4: 16 - 18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are waisting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our LIGHT and MOMENTARY troubles are achieving for us an ETERNAL GLORY that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Ps. These are some pictures of a blooming tea pot and some tea blooms, my sister Cara brought over from Switzerland, where she is now living. She also brought me a tea magazine! I was so delighted! And that piece of bread has chocolate in it. MMMMM.
Jodi, what a great verse! Pastor Luke just did a sermon on the very same one last Sunday! I hope you are not being worked too hard. I am so excited that you will be back in the states and that your wedding is coming up so quickly! Wow, your sister moved to Switzerland? It must be nice to have some family around! :) The bread with the chocolate in it looks delicious! Talk to you soon and thanks for posting :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Verse Jodi! Thanks for sharing. I had such a wonderful time with you on Thursday night! I hope I didn't keep you up too late? The chocolate bread does look amazing! And the tea is so cool!
